Being a member of the American Sambo Association and big fans of MMA, we here at ECS completely support the initiative to make MMA legal in the state of New York. Coach Grant remembers all too well when Senator John McCain worked to temporarily ban mixed martial arts competitions in Arizona while he held the Arizona Shootfighting Championship Heavyweight Title back in the late 90's. Luckily, the ban was lifted shortly after it was instilled. Just like in Arizona back then, now in New York , the reasons appear to be more political than practical.

The film is produced by ASA President Stephen Koepfer and is a documentary about the plight to legalize MMA in the state of New York shown through the eyes of amateur fighter, Bradley Desir.
